Em Guimarães was a passion project of mine. Guimarães being my hometown and me being an active participant in the cultural scene of the city, i saw the opportunity to improve the main platform the city has to expose everything culture related tied with the city.
During 4 months i took the website that already existed and turned it into a mobile app, maintaining the main features and adding some more with the objective of creating a more cohesive platform and incentivise the people from Guimarães to participate in the rich culture the city has to offer.

Benchmark
Conclusions
Navigation compared to other websites is weak.
Some functionalities present in some websites could be added to prevent some problems and improve the user experience.
Compared to other websites the relation between the candidate a the employer could be improved.
Interviews
To better understand our target audience several interviews were made asking primarily what they know of the already existing website and how’s the experience with it.
Conclusions
Everyone i interviewed didn’t like the visuals of the website and found it confusing to navigate.
Some people didn’t even knew the website existed.
upon questioning if they would download an app focusing on exposing Guimarães culture majority said.
